Site analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit, which pages they read, and which links they use. It records things like the pages you view, the site that referred you, your approximate location, your device and browser, and a few actions on the site: clicking a "Book a call" link, sending the contact form, and finishing the readiness checklist. It does not record what you type into the form or which checklist answers you chose.

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to tell visits apart. Google processes this data under its own terms; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can block these cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works the same either way.

The contact form

If you send the contact form, it collects your name, business name, email address, and message. The form is processed by Formspree, which delivers it to our email. We use it only to reply to you and to discuss possible work together.

Booking a call

"Book a call" links open Calendly, a separate scheduling service. Anything you enter there is collected by Calendly under its own privacy notice and shared with us so we can prepare for the call.

The readiness checklist

Your checklist answers stay in your browser. They are not sent to us or saved anywhere. Analytics records only that the checklist was completed, with the number of Yes answers.

Email and client work

If you email us or become a client, we keep our correspondence and the business information you share for as long as it is needed for the work and for ordinary business records. Information shared during an engagement is handled under the confidentiality terms we agree before work begins.

What we do not do

We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask to join one.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing joane@commongrnd.ai. We will reply within 30 days. Our web host may also keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
